Concept Testing is designed to be simple and fast: you provide the concept, choose your target audience, and the platform does the rest.
A built‑in framework captures ratings on appeal, clarity, uniqueness, and intent, plus feedback on what to improve, giving you actionable insights in days, not weeks.
This guide walks you through each step of setting up a study inside the platform.
1. Enter Concept Details
Start by providing the basics of what you want tested:
Concept name → internal label for your draft idea.
Short description → one or two lines explaining the concept.
Category → select the relevant product/service category.
Target market → specify the audience you intend this concept for.
Stimulus → upload an image, video, or mockup; paste a link; or enter text if no visuals.
2. Define Competitive Context
Optionally, add a competitor product/concept. This allows respondents to directly compare your idea with an alternative, making results more actionable.
If you don’t have a competitor yet → select “None” and continue.
3. Price Input (optional)
If your concept includes a price point, enter it here.
Respondents will evaluate both the concept and the price.
This provides directional pricing insights (acceptable ranges, value perception).
4. Select Target Audience
You now choose who will evaluate your concept:
Sample size → Recommended baseline = 300 respondents.
Audience type:
Nationally Representative → balanced demographics, fastest setup.
Custom Audience → filter by age, gender, habits, location, or other traits.
Coverage → available in 150+ countries, with the option to narrow to states, provinces, or cities.
The Audience Difficulty (IR) indicator will show how easy/hard your targeting is to recruit.
5. Add‑Ons
Open‑text feedback → enable extra qualitative input ($390).
Cross‑concept testing → compare multiple concepts side‑by‑side.
More respondents/stimuli → scale up for more confidence or broader testing.
6. Review & Pricing
As you configure each step, the system automatically updates your project price.
Base package → From $1,390 (150 respondents, 10+ metrics).
Scale options → Increase sample size or add custom modules for an adjusted cost.
Before launch:
Our team double‑checks feasibility, audience settings, and quality controls.
7. Launch & Reporting
Once confirmed:
Your study launches to the chosen respondents.
Results are ready within 3–5 days.
Setting up a Concept Testing study is quick and flexible, the survey framework is predefined, so you just need to add your ideas, your target audience, and optional add‑ons.
