Filtering data
Filters let you narrow down results to specific audiences.
Click Filter (top right in your project).
Browse all survey questions and answers.
By default, every answer is included ✅
Uncheck any answers you want to exclude.
Click Apply to see your report update.
👉 The filter is not permanent — you can reset anytime.
Creating Custom Audiences
Instead of re‑applying filters every time, save them as a Custom Audience.
Once saved, you can reuse it anywhere in your project.
Combine multiple filters (e.g. female, age 18–24, income level) for deep analysis.
Common filter uses:
Demographics (age, gender, location, revenue)
Customer type (trial vs buyer)
Qualifications / behavior
Saved Views
When a filter is active, it appears at the top of your project.
Reset at any time.
Save the filter as a View for quick access later.
Your default view is called Main.
You (and teammates) can create multiple saved views and switch easily without repeating filter work.
Split analysis
Split lets you compare results side by side in a heatmap.
Pick any survey question to split by (gender, age, location, etc.).
View differences per segment vs the overall average.
Great for spotting sub‑group differences.
Examples:
Compare answers across men vs women
Compare age segments to see generational differences
Question‑level filters/Split
Open the 3‑dot menu (⋮) on any question.
Select Filter/split on question — the filter/split applies only to this question, not the entire report.
Comparison
Located top‑right of your project, Comparison goes a step further:
Compare two audiences (from filters, custom audiences, or saved views).
Compare different data waves (if you’ve run multiple surveys over time).
Useful for tracking trends and changes over time.
✅ With Filters, Splits, and Saved Views, you unlock powerful analysis tools to focus on key segments, compare groups, and build reusable audience profiles.
