You can translate your survey into different languages to make it accessible to more respondents. Choose a default language, generate instant translations with AI, or add your own translations manually. During the survey, respondents can select their preferred language from a dropdown menu.
Choose or change the default language
Click the translate icon in the left menu of your survey builder
Click the ✏️ pen icon beside your default language.
To change the default, click the 🌐 globe icon.
The default language is what participants see first when opening the survey.
Add a new language
Click + New Language.
Select a language from the dropdown list.
The new language will appear next to your default language column.
Translate questions and answers
You have three ways to translate:
Manual translation → Click the ✏️ pen beside a question or answer and type your preferred translation.
Automatic translation → Click the green Translate icon to generate translations for the entire survey using our AI‑powered database.
Refresh a single item → Click the 🔄 circular arrow to generate translations for one specific question/answer
How respondents see languages
The default language displays first to respondents.
A dropdown menu lets them switch and answer in their preferred language at any time.
