Sharing & Publishing a Project

Decide who can access your project. Invite team members privately, or publish your report online with access controls like passwords, lead forms, and custom pop‑ups.

Private by default

When you create a project, it is private to you.

  • Even teammates in your workspace cannot access it until you share.

  • You are the project owner and control visibility.

Sharing with colleagues

Click Share (top right of your project) → Invite Colleagues.

  • Select an existing team member to grant access.

  • If the person is not in your workspace yet, you’ll need to invite them to join the workspace first, then add them to the project.

Publishing a report online

To make your report accessible outside your workspace:

  1. Click SharePublish Report.

  2. Toggle Publish your report online.

  3. Copy your public link.

You can also decide which tabs are visible (e.g. show Introduction but hide Survey). The report will appear in the same order as your project tabs.

Access control options

When publishing a report online, you control how people access it:

  • No Gate → Anyone with the link sees everything.

  • Password Authentication → Restrict access with a chosen password.

  • Lead Form → Collect details (name, email, company, etc.) before giving access.

    • Gate the full report, or

    • Gate after partial reading (after ~30% of content).

  • Custom Pop‑up → Show a promotion, link, or CTA during viewing. Ideal for driving traffic to your website, offers, or signups.

👉 Lead form gating is especially useful for generating leads while sharing insights.

Advanced settings

When configuring Lead Forms or Pop‑ups, you can:

  • Add/remove form fields (e.g. job title, industry).

  • Set fields as mandatory or optional.

  • Customize pop‑up title, content, call‑to‑action label, and destination link.

  • Decide if links open in the same tab or a new one.

Example use cases

  • Private access: Share only with your team for collaboration.

  • Password gated: Share external reports securely with clients.

  • Lead generation: Publish a public report but gate 70% of content behind a form.

  • Promotional: Add a custom pop‑up linking to your website or product demo.

✅ With Sharing & Publishing settings, you stay in control of your insights — whether you want full privacy, workspace collaboration, public promotion, or lead capture.
